Out of hours emergencies
Getting hold of dental advice or treatment out of hours is often very difficult. Your local Primary Care Trust should have provision for providing emergency treatment. The PCT number will be in the Yellow Pages or on yell.com.

NHS Direct can offer advice 24 hrs on 0845 4647.

If you suffer a trauma to your mouth or teeth, out of hours you can attend your local Accident and Emergency Department. Please be aware that this could involve quite a long wait and a dental specialist may not be available.
