TREATMENT / Dentures

If you have lost one or more teeth, a denture can fill the gap to improve your appearance and chewing function. They can also help the way you speak. When you have a tooth out, your other teeth can start to move and tilt. This makes them more likely to trap food or start to decay. A denture can help prevent this. It will also take the load off some of your other teeth.
If you have to have a tooth out, especially one at the front, a denture can be made called an ‘immediate denture’. This denture is made beforehand and fitted straight after you have the tooth out so, at no time, will you go around with a gap.
